The Rockets Tuesday night might be forced to go super small with the Heat in town. Dwight Howard is suspended, Clint Capela (left hip flexor strain) and Montrezl Harrell (illness) are both questionable.
Head coach J.B. Bickerstaff mentioned to the media that Donatas Motiejunas will not be taken off his recovery path and will likely be heading back to the Rockets D-League affiliate soon.
The only remaining healthy bigs for Tuesdays game will be Josh Smith and Terrence Jones. Coach Bickerstaff even joked that he asked Trevor Ariza when the last time he played center was. While it was a joke, the Rockets seriously might be forced to go super small if Capela ends up not playing.
If the team does go very small, look for the game to speed up to try and take advantage of the Rockets quickness advantage. The Rockets have done well in stretches when they have been small. With a four-game losing streak looming the Rockets will need to get out quickly and try to catch the Heat off guard
