The Rockets start their last major road trip of the season tonight on ABC against the Bulls. Jimmy Butler is playing, Derrick Rose is on somewhat of a tear and the Rockets are the 2015-2016 Rockets. In a season that makes no sense, they're coming off the game that was the most unbelievable of all: shooting 3-35 from three-point range (a James Harden miss was ruled a three-pointer after the fact) and somehow beating a not-terrible Pelicans team.
That game happened hours after Michael Beasley came to Houston from China to sign. Beacuse this season makes no sense. You know what would make the least sense, and is therefore the most likely outcome for this season? Michael Beasley rejuvenating himself, injecting offensive potency into the bench and the team making a run at the No. 6 seed in these last 21 games.
I'm not saying it'll happen, but literally nothing this year would surprise me.
