Rockets vs. Raptors game thread: Back-to-back attack

The Rockets came out flat in the first night of a back-to-back. Does not bode well.

As I wrote yesterday before the Rockets lost to the Bulls, this season makes no sense. I was hanging out with Max last night, and we discussed how there's basically nothing to say about this season. The Rockets are still in the playoff picture, but have no hope of advancing far. If they miss the playoffs, they keep their draft pick, but it will likely be a middling player they are able to pick.

So, we're in no-man's-land as fans. Just aimlessly drifting along, following a team that's aimlessly drifting along. The Raptors are a fantastic team, and they have a great home crowd. The Rockets are now 0-1 on a crucial road trip. A win in the hardest game of said road trip could be encouraging, especially if Donatas Motiejunas plays a big part, the bench explodes, or Patrick Beverley actually shoots well. Those would be nice things to build on.
