Stephen Curry, Patrick Beverley out for rest of Game 4 with leg injuries

The point guards will sit

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Stephen Curry slipped at the end of the first half and suffered a sprained right knee and won't be coming back to this game. It's unclear how it happened, but Patrick Beverley will also miss the rest of this game with a leg injury.

The Warriors also have Shaun Livingston, Leandro Barbosa and Ian Clark healthy and active in this game. The only other Rockets' point guard active is Jason Terry (Andrew Goudelock is inactive while Montrezl Harrell is active, in case you were wondering).

Obviously Stephen Curry is the MVP of the NBA, but without Patrick Beverley, the Rockets' defensive intensity has been nil. The Warriors scored 30 points in the first nine minutes of the second half. The Rockets have Jason Terry guarding Shaun Livingston and I guess James Harden is guaranteed to play all 48 minutes now.

The momentum the Rockets had after an incredible first half is completely lost. The Warriors have rallied without their leader. The Rockets have crumbled.

We'll just have to wait and see what happens for Game 5.
