Adidas introduces new custom James Harden home and away shoes

Harden now has a personalized home and away shoe from Adidas ahead of the playoffs.

Houston Rockets guard James Harden has had some interesting shows in his first season with Adidas after signing a deal worth $200 million over 13 years this offseason. Harden has the all-white nurse's shoe and colorway called "Haze Salmon" for Easter. Adidas is finally presenting a shoe that is geared specifically for the Rockets.

Adidas has announced the James Harden player editions of the Crazylight Boost 2.5 for the Rockets' home and away jerseys.

Adidas adds about each shoe:

Home
The "Home" edition features a black and white upper with dual tones for clean yet bold design while the shoe is also constructed with engineered webbing along the forefoot for added breathability. Red hits deliver pops of color on the outsole, heel tab and custom "13" wordmark to cap off the home tribute.

Away
The silhouette features a black to red gradient upper, combining Primeknit threads with forefoot mesh for increased durability and comfort on the court. Black details on the lacing system, pull tab, chrome-finished heel counter and custom "13" wordmark boldly contrast an iced red outsole to round out the road exclusive.

The Crazylight Boost 2.5 "Home" drops April 29 and the "Away" is available May 14 for $130.

Now these are some shoes that Rockets fans can get behind with the red and black fades. They remind be a bit of T-Mac 1 and 2s -- a more simplified and refined version of those early 2000's shoes.

Now I'm sure Adidas is hoping Harden and the Rockets make the playoffs to show these new shoes off.
