Rockets vs. Mavericks game thread: Texas-sized showdown

Any other year, I would be jacked up beyond belief over a game like tonight. Houston vs. Dallas, with a chance to take the pole position for the No. 7 seed hanging in the balance. What a huge game, right? Right.

But this season, duh, is different. If I get too high and amped before the game, the Rockets will surely lose and disappoint me. This is not up for dispute. It's happened roughly 25 times this season already.

But I am not on Team Tank, as most of you know. I am on Team Win. I will just be on Team Chill tonight because Team Excited loses too damn often.
