Jason Terry, one of the more entertaining and opinionated voices in the NBA, is about to make his voice heard weekly.
SiriusXM announced today the Houston Rockets guard and 17-year NBA veteran will host a new weekly show, "The Runway with Jason "The Jet" Terry," on its 24/7 NBA channel starting tomorrow, from 6 to 7 pm CT, just in time for the NBA Finals.
JET landing his own radio show seems like a no-brainer. The sharpshooter knows how to make headlines, whether by getting tattoos of the Larry O'Brien Trophy before he even won a title with the 2011 Dallas Mavericks, or incorrectly predicting a Game 5 victory in the first round of the 2016 NBA Playoffs against the Golden State Warriors. Outside of Jalen Rose and Charles Barkley, it's hard to think of a player you'd want a mic in front of weekly more.
NBA fans can look forward to hearing Terry discuss the Association at-large, and Rockets fans can hope (or hope not) to hear JET give the goods on what happened behind the scenes in the team's past two mercurial seasons. We personally can't wait to see where Terry lands on the side of Team Dwight or Team Harden. Someone needs to cue up the quasi-Twilight fan fiction with Daryl Morey playing the role of Bella any day now. And good luck getting that image out of your head.
