The 2016-2017 NBA schedule was released yesterday, and the Rockets have a total of 13 games appearing on national television -- meaning ABC, ESPN or TNT. Only one game appears on ABC. The rest are on the other two networks.
They include games against the defending NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers, cross-state rival San Antonio Spurs, two games each against the Golden State Super Friends and the Los Angeles Clippers, and a whopping three nationally-televised games against Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder. They also meet up with former Rocket Dwight Howard and the Atlanta Hawks.
Eight out of the 13 nationally televised games are on the road for the Rockets, including their first five consecutive. Take a look a the TV slate. All times are central standard.
