In a contentious election season The Dream Shake is proud to announce its long-awaited 2016 political endorsement... in the seemingly non-contentious election for Harris County Justice of the Peace, Precinct 3.
In this election, which we don't fully understand, did limited research on and consider to be of serious magnitude for matters of peace and justice, one candidate has proven himself to be an actual Houston Rocket earning the unanimous endorsement of The Dream Shake, candidate Joe Stephens.
A native of Harris County, Stephens took the court for the Rockets in nine games as a small forward in 1997 and 1998 after propelling North Shore high school to a state semifinal and attending Little Rock University.
Stephens earns our endorsement for three concrete reasons:
- He was a Houston Rocket.
- He's going all out with a commercial proclaiming his intent to "stand tall" for Harris County residents.
- He has the endorsement of Clyde Drexler and Mario Elie.
On the issues, there's no comparison in terms of thoughtfulness, thoroughness and Rocketness, Joe Stephens is the man Northeast Harris County needs.

If you live in North Shore, Channelview, Baytown or Crosby. Get out and vote this November for a Houston Rocket.
