The Rockets continue their absurd January schedule hosting the Memphis Grizzlies at home tonight.
Honestly, the Grizzlies baffle me in many ways. I'm not sure why people are fond of watching them. "Grit and Grind" sounds cooler than it looks, in my estimation.
I'm not sure how they've won the number of games they've won with the point differential they have.
I'm not entirely sure why Memphis has an NBA team and, say, Seattle, doesn't. This is nothing against the fine folks of Memphis, or their pharaohs, or their pyramids, or their odd animal-headed gods. I suppose I'll even give their attempt at barbecue a pass.
Anyhow, we hope the Rockets end their one game skid, a "skid" caused I think by the stack of injuries coupled with the insane January schedule. Are the Rockets going to get a week off in March? Will they stop going out for one game, then back, then out again? Who knows, because I've reached the damn word count...
