The Rockets and Grizzlies meet for the third time this season, where the Rockets look to get on the board and the Grizzlies look to win the season series.
Two of the Rockets’ three losses this season come at the hands of the Grizzlies and both games produced the two worst offensive performances from Houston this season. However, the Rockets have been steamrolling as of late, scoring 117 in the last four contests, all of which were wins.
Chris Paul is out for the Rockets, but Luc Mbah a Moute is back after missing Thursday’s game with a leg injury.
For Memphis, JaMychal Green is out with a sprained ankle.
If the Rockets want to win tonight, the offense must continue to maintain the caliber it has been at since November began. They cannot allow Memphis to use their mismatches to take Houston out of the game, which is what happened in the first two meetings this season.
Hopefully the third time’s the charm for the Rockets and they can get the job done tonight.
