The Rockets are at the Toyota Center tonight looking for their seventh straight victory, as they take on the Toronto Raptors.
Toronto has a 7-5 record and are no slouch, and the Rockets will be without Chris Paul for at least one more night (likely two more), and they’ll also be without backup center Nene, who’s nursing a sore foot.
Nene is out for Rockets vs. Raptors tonight with a sprained right foot.

That means more playing time for Tarik Black, who has provided some decent minutes so far, especially defensively, when Nene sits.
The Rockets will once again lean on the usual suspects — MVP candidate James Harden, a rejuvenated Eric Gordon, a suddenly defensive-minded Ryan Anderson, and early Most Improved Player candidate Clint Capela.
The Raptors will counter with Kyle Lowry, Serge Ibaka, and DeMar DeRozan, and these Raps can score, so it should be an exciting game. I actually predicted the Rockets to lose tonight in today’s Tuesday 5-on-5, though I will certainly be hoping that I’m very wrong.
Tonight’s game is airing nationally on NBATV at 7:00pm CST.
We will have a Facebook Live halftime report for this game, so go slide over to Facebook once the second quarter comes to a close.
Don’t forget to hit up AK’s preview before it starts!
