Knicks SBNation Blog: Posting and Toasting
The Knicks are the East’s 8th seed. Considering the expectations laid out for them at the beginning of the season, I would say that’s a moral victory. I also find the idea of the Knicks having a better record than Carmelo Anthony’s Thunder to be quite comical.
On one side of the coin, the Knicks are not bad.
On the other side of the coin, they lost to the Hawks last night.
The Knicks are looking to avenge their loss when the Rockets came to MSG earlier this month while the Rockets are looking to earn the season series sweep.
New York is banged up, as Enes Kanter (back spasms) and Kristaps Porzingis (back tightness) will not play. Houston, for the first time all season, is healthy, and have won their last three games by 20+ points.
Also, the Rockets are wearing their black “Statement” uniforms tonight.
This should be fun.
