It’s good to be back after a week spent battling first a herniated disc and then a lovely case of the flu obtained over the weekend. I’m still pretty far from 100 percent, but good enough to sit on my couch under a blanket and type a few hundred words about tonight’s game and its recap.
James Harden will thankfully be active for tonight’s contest after being added to the injury report earlier in the day with a bruised calf.
James Harden (bruised calf) good to go for Rockets vs. Pelicans tonight.

At the time of this post, Anthony Davis for the Pelicans was still listed as questionable after re-aggravating an injury, though according to Jonathan Feigen, he looked pretty good in pregame warmups.
Pels F/C Anthony Davis testing a tight adductor pregame, Alvin Gentry said. He sure looked good to me, FWIW.

Alvin Gentry apparently won’t make a decision on his availability until the last minute, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see AD sit tonight.
The Rockets have kept on winning while I was down for the count, and they’ll be looking for their 10th straight in the W column tonight against the 14-13 Pelicans. With the game taking place at home, I’ll be looking for that victory.
Don’t forget to hit up AK’s preview before game time.
Go Rockets!
Edit: Anthony Davis is out for tonight’s game.
