These Denver Nuggets are a different team than the one the Rockets ran out of their own building one night after beating the Warriors in overtime (man those were an awesome two games).
The Rockets are 12-1 on the second night of a back-to-back this year, but they haven’t had many of them. But this season, when they’ve laid eggs like they did last night against the Pelicans (sorry about the lack of a recap, by the way), they have typically bounced back with a great game.
Harden went harder in New Orleans than he has in a long time, and he had the numbers to back it up. Now, in elevation, the Rockets’ supporting cast will need to raise their games and let Harden take it as easy as possible.
