Hakeem Olajuwon is thinking Rockets championship

The Dream gives this team his approval

NBA: Washington Wizards at Houston Rockets Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

If there is one thing that Hakeem Olajuwon knows, it's what it takes to win championships.

After watching the Houston Rockets dispatch the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 5, Olajuwon shared he think's this team can be very special.

"This is the first year that we have a real opportunity that we can do it," Olajuwon said. "These guys can do that, and they believe that."

That "it" the greatest Rockets player of all-time was talking about, was going all the way and bringing the Larry O'Brien Trophy back to Houston for the third time.

"They play together (and) they like each other off the court, which is very, very important to winning a championship," Olajuwon said.

Unlike last year, when the team's two biggest stars were at odds with each other, this year everyone has joined together in one common goal: to win.

The Dream is pretty high on this version of the Rockets, and it's hard to disagree with him. When the team is playing at their best they can beat anybody, and even through massive struggles shooting the ball they still managed to find a way to beat the Thunder 4-1.

For the Rockets to win another championship they have some pretty tough test ahead of them, but with this team, it certainly won't be impossible.
