Many Rockets fans feared Nene might be suspended for tonight’s Game 2, but it looks like no further action will take place. Nene will be eligible to play in tonight’s game, and although $15,000 is a hefty price, having him on the floor for tonight’s game could be priceless.
What might also surprise some fans is the apparent lack of punishment for Dedmon, who initiated a barkfest with James Harden, made head-to-head contact with him before the Nene shove, and then repeatedly shoved an official who got in between him and the two Rockets. Dedmon figures to get more playing time Wednesday night.
