Rockets owner Leslie Alexander has done some tremendous things as Rockets owner. Since he purchased the team in 1993, the Rockets hold the second-best record in the league behind the San Antonio Spurs and have two championship banners hanging in the rafters of Toyota Center.
Alexander, a New Jersey native, has called Houston home for so long and is now giving back. Alexander pledged $4 million to mayor Sylvester Turner’s relief efforts towards the city of Houston.

Alexander revealed last month that he was interested in selling the team, and hopefully his successor will have the same amount of philanthropy as Mr. Alexander has.
