The Rockets took first blood, then the Warriors evened the score. Tonight, the score is settled.
Trevor Ariza and Gerald Green are the only Rockets unable to play tonight due to suspension. Look for Luc Mbah a Moute to take his spot in the starting lineup and get the assignment of guarding Kevin Durant. Andre Iguodala is out for the Warriors.
It’s the top two teams in the west, and 4.5 games separate the two of them. Tonight’s winner will have the tiebreaker at the end of the season, so in the small possibility that the Warriors and Rockets find themselves tied at the end of the season, the winner of this game would hold the tiebreaker.
This would be a big win for the Rockets and would boost morale, giving them some extra confidence that this team can contend against their competition.
