Houston closes out the preseason tonight in Memphis. It’ll be the end to a pretty uneventful preseason, which is exactly what you want.
Instead of heading to Birmingham, this game is actually in Tennessee. The Rockets will return to Houston to begin the season proper on Wednesday. That game will be at the same time as Game 4 of the ALCS with the Houston Astros also in town, so that will be fun.
Tonight, the Rockets will look to get a little work in for the rotation players and then get one final look at the end of the bench guys. I’m sure James Harden will try to play 30+ minutes, but the team is best suited if they rest and prepare for the regular season.
We’ll get back into the swing of things on Wednesday. For now, let’s enjoy one more meaningless basketball game.
Tip-off is at 7pm CT on NBA TV
