Rockets vs. Jazz - game thread

If the Rockets hope to snap out of their early-season funk tonight against the Jazz, they’ll have to do it shorthanded.

No Chris Paul, no James Ennis, no Marquese Chriss, no Nene, no Brandon Knight.

It’s pretty early in the season to see five names on the sidelines, but alas, that’s where we find ourselves this evening, as the Houston Rockets take on the Utah Jazz tonight at the Toyota Center.

The Rockets are off to an unsteady 1-2 start, and it they are to right the ship tonight against Utah, they’ll have to do it with Michael Carter-Williams in the starting lineup.

There are several things to look for tonight if the Rockets are to turn it around, and Colin broke them down in his piece from this morning. Don’t forget to check out AK’s preview before the tip as well.

I hate the Jazz. Always have and always will, so I’ll be looking forward to a Houston victory tonight, despite their shorthanded status.

Go Rockets!
