We are only eight days away from NBA games that really, truly mean something. After this game against the Shaghai Sharks, the Rockets will play one more preseason game against the Grizzlies, and then they finally face off against the Pelicans in the season-opener at Toyota next Wednesday.
We can see the promised land.
Some injury updates for you- and by “some” I mean a lot:
Couple more Rockets sitting out: Clint Capela (bruised hand) and Carmelo Anthony (rest.) https://t.co/a8I9QrBU8J

In case you don’t want to read that, Eric Gordon, Michael Carter-Williams, Clint Capela, Carmelo Anthony, Marquese Chriss, Isaiah Hartenstein, Nene, and Brandon Knight are all out.
It’s a shame because MCW has really been a bright spot for the team this preseason, and it’s been entertaining to watch him play. It’s an even bigger shame that Melo is out because I just enjoy watching Anthony play.
With all the bigs out, D’Antoni confirms that P.J. Tucker will start at center, and James Ennis Gerald Green will be the starting forwards.
Lastly, I never thought I’d have to say this, but the game will actually be televised! I don’t know about you, but I didn’t watch most of the game against the Spurs because it was being streamed via Facebook, and I really didn’t enjoy that. I’m glad to have it back on good ol’ TV.
Let’s go Rockets!
