Rockets vs. Wizards - game thread

The Rockets look to snap a two-game losing streak tonight.

Just when we thought our Houston Rockets were back, they mess around and drop back-to-back games to the Detroit Pistons and Cleveland Cavaliers right after Thanksgiving.

Suddenly, all the questions about this team are back and new issues are also being raised. The team was already struggling with injuries before tonight, but now it’s being reported that both Chris Paul and Gerald Green will again be out.

That begs the question: what exactly is wrong with CP3? He’s missing his second straight contest on what was initially just described as “rest” on Saturday.

Things are so thin that the Rockets called up Danuel House today from the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. He’s probably going to be in uniform tonight.

It’s going to be up to reigning MVP James Harden to carry the squad against a Wizards team that’s been struggling and reportedly offering almost every name on their roster in an effort to rebuild. Harden’s been scoring, but he needs to cut back on the turnovers and command the offense tonight. That’s what we’ll be looking for from The Beard.

A loss tonight, and I might officially be worried. Go Rockets!
