Spurs SBNation Blog: Pounding the Rock

I don’t know if there has ever been a time where the Rockets and Spurs have met this late into the season with both teams under .500. It certainly has not happened since the 1990s at least.

Tonight, the Rockets look to exact revenge on the Spurs after losing to them in possibly their worst outing of the year on November 11.

Chris Paul and Gerald Green are likely returning for tonight’s matchup, which gives the Rockets a reason to keep optimism flowing. The last meeting against the Spurs sparked a turnaround, and hopefully this game can do the same.
