Rockets vs. Pacers - game thread

Houston Rockets (3-5) vs. Indiana Pacers (7-3), Nov. 5, 2018, 6:00 p.m. CDT

The Rockets are on a two-game winning streak, Chris Paul has shown signs of life, James Harden is back from a hamstring injury, and at least offensively, Carmelo Anthony has been looking more comfortable as well.

Now the Rockets have received some even better news, with the sudden return of defensive mastermind Jeff Bzdelik, and though it will be a few weeks yet before Bzdelik is officially back in action on a full-time basis (though he will be working part-time pretty quickly), it’s another piece of positive mojo for a team that was in dire need of some as short as just a few days ago.

But things change quickly in the NBA, and just as fast as the Rockets were on a losing streak, they now have chance to make it three wins in a row against a pretty good Pacers squad.

Win again, and their horrid start will be all but a memory. Lose, however, and we’ll be back to asking ourselves the same questions we were a week ago.
