Thunder SBNation Blog: Welcome to Loud City

The Rockets look to get back to .500 tonight and stay undefeated on their road trip with a trip to one of their favorite places: Oklahoma City.

The Rockets have a lot of history with the Thunder, but tonight begins a new chapter as Carmelo Anthony makes his return to OKC as a visitor for the first time since his trade over the summer. Things didn’t end perfectly there, so expect Loud City to be a little extra loud tonight when Melo holds the ball.

One thing that might bode well for the Rockets tonight is the absence of Russell Westbrook for the Thunder. He’s missing his second straight game with an ankle injury and it should make the Rockets’ jobs a little easier tonight.

For the Rockets, Eric Gordon will not play despite his status elevating to questionable yesterday. Other than Gordon, expect the Rockets’ rotation to remain the same.

Let’s see if the Rockets can pull this one out.
