Lakers SBNation Blog: Silver Screen and Roll
When these two teams met last, times were simpler. Each team was looking for its first win on the young season as LeBron James played his first regular season game as a Laker in front of his new home crowd.
However, the entire storyline was mauled and dominated by Rajon Rondo spitting into Chris Paul’s face, erupting the NBA’s biggest fight this season.
Now, times are messy with the Rockets flailing under .500 and the Lakers having their best season since the Kobe-Pau days.
Neither Rondo or Brandon Ingram, the fight’s two main instigators, will play this evening. But, Chris Paul is healthy and so is former pseudo-All Star Brandon Knight, who will play his first NBA game in nearly two years tonight, so that’s awesome.
