After a crushing loss on Thursday, the team faced its bigger defeat in losing Chris Paul for a few weeks.

And as Thursday snapped a five-game winning streak, it further killed the momentum that Houston had built in its win streak.

The Rockets have a chance to restart their momentum tonight against the Spurs, whom they beat by 31 points last month in San Antonio. However, the Spurs are riding their own wave of momentum by winning seven of their last eight games.

If James Harden can limit his turnovers and if the role players can pick up the slack, the Rockets should be fine, but is it too early for the adjustments to supplant themselves.
