According to Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle, the Rockets have signed Austin Rivers.
Rockets reach agreement to sign guard Austin Rivers, source said.

This deal does not come as much of a surprise as Rivers was waived by the Suns last week after a trade with the Wizards. Rivers was looking for a new home and with Chris Paul’s hamstring injury, the need for a guard has intensified.
Rivers, 26, spent parts of three seasons as a teammate of Chris Paul’s in Los Angeles with the Clippers.
This season, Rivers is averaging 7.2 points per game in a reduced role with the Wizards. Perhaps another change of scenery will do Rivers some good and he can push the Rockets further into the right direction.
