Game Thread: Kings @ Rockets

Houston tries to hit the All-Star break with a 10 game winning streak.

Joe Johnson is playing tonight. Houston will juggle a level of depth nearly unknown to both the franchise and head coach Mike D'Antoni.

The Rockets are without Nene, Eric Gordon, and Trevor Ariza. Brandan Wright is in street clothes.

A win would the be Rockets tenth straight and send them into the All-Star break with a strong narrative they are the potential counter-weight to the Golden State Warriors.

The Kings are a franchise in perpetual disarray. The game is a welcome homecoming for both De'Aaron Fox and Justin Jackson, but there's little expectation of their ability to compete with a scorching hot Rockets team.

James Harden is coming off a quiet 34 points and 12 assists. We get a real test of Ryan Anderson home vs. away. Last night in Minnesota he shot 6-10 from three, but he's notoriously worse at home. We'll watch for a difference this evening.

Pour one out for Troy Williams who the Houston Rockets officially waived today.
