It’s going to be a tough game tonight for the Houston Rockets. Not only are they on the road against a team they’ve had trouble with in recent seasons, but they’re also on a back-to-back. They supposedly got into Miami at 3:45 in the morning after last night’s win over the Brooklyn Nets. But now, they’re once again dealing with injury issues as well.
We already knew Trevor Ariza was out. Well, now Eric Gordon and Ryan Anderson will also sit out. Gordon’s balky back tightened up on him once again, and Anderson sprained an ankle early in last night’s game. The Rockets are being extra cautious with both.
Eric Gordon and Ryan Anderson both out for the Rockets vs. Miami. Ariza of course was already out.

That leaves the game in the still very capable hands of Chris Paul and James Harden, but they’ll be utilizing Gerald Green, P.J. Tucker, and Luc Mbah a Moute as their primary sidekicks instead. We all know that Green can light it up, and Luc and Tuck can defend, but the Rockets are going to need at least two of them to have their shot on tonight to make up for the loss of three of their best sharpshooters from deep.
This could end up being one of those unavoidable schedule losses, but with The Beard and CP3 running things, anything is possible.
Go Rockets!
