Just a little over two months ago, Blake Griffin ignited a war. What we didn’t know was that it would be the final time the Rockets would see Griffin in a Clipper jersey.
Two weeks later, Griffin was traded to Detroit and the highly-anticipated rematch was delayed... until now. Tonight, Rockets fans will greet Griffin to a ravaging chorus of boos, and it will be boo-tiful.
The Rockets, who currently sit a full four games ahead of the Warriors, could inch closer to homecourt advantage throughout the playoffs tonight with a win. A victory tonight would also tie a franchise record for wins in a season with 58.
Chris Paul is questionable to play tonight with a hamstring injury, but the rest of the team is healthy and ready to go for tonight’s first game of a five-game homestand.
Check out AK’s preview before tipoff.
