Pelicans SBNation Blog: The Bird Writes
The Rockets look to take the season series against the Pelicans as their division rival comes to town for the second time this season. They will have to complete the task without Chris Paul and Luc Mbah a Moute, both of whom sustained injuries earlier in the week.
Look for Joe Johnson and Gerald Green to get more minutes and I would not be surprised to see the freeing of Nene and/or Tarik Black tonight with a matchup against a tall team like New Orleans. Eric Gordon should get his second straight start next to James Harden in the backcourt.
A win tonight would mark the Rockets’ eighth consecutive victory and would clinch the best record ever in franchise history for the team’s 59th win of the season.
