Rockets go for a season-high 15th straight victory, but the Celtics stand in their way. The game is a rematch of a game many Rockets fans would like to forget as the Rockets blew a 26-point lead to lose to the Celtics in Boston.
Since that game in late December, the Rockets are an incredible 23-5 and have marched their way to the best record in the league. 14 of the Rockets’ 23 wins since their last meeting with the Celtics have come consecutively and the team has not dropped a game since January 26.
Tonight will be one of their tougher tests with Boston coming into town. Currently, Boston is riding a four-game winning streak and are challenging for the top spot in the East. In what could be a Finals preview, both teams have a lot riding on tonight’s game in the standings and from a morale standpoint.
Projected Starters
Boston: Kyrie Irving, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Al Horford, Aron Baynes
Houston: Chris Paul, James Harden, Trevor Ariza, P.J. Tucker, Clint Capela
