According to Shams Charania, the Rockets have signed Tim Quarterman to a two-year deal with a team option for next season.

Quarterman, 23, signed a ten-day contract yesterday but the Rockets have extended that deal for the remainder of the season with the possibility of having him back next year. The former LSU Tiger was traded to the Rockets in the offseason for cash considerations and was in training camp with the team before he was cut.

In a corresponding move, the Rockets released Le’Bryan Nash.

Quarterman has played 11 games with the Agua Caliente Clippers of the G-League, averaging 8.9 points per game.

Welcome back to Houston, Tim!
