Suns SBNation Blog: Bright Side of the Sun

The Rockets rank first in the league in winning percentage. The Suns rank last in the league in winning percentage. Stranger things have happened, but I like the Rockets’ chances tonight.

With homecourt locked throughout the Western Conference playoffs, the Rockets still need to snatch homecourt for the entire playoffs, but the magic number is just 2. It can get to 1 tonight with a win over the Suns.

The Rockets will continue to rest some of their players in preparation for the postseason. Eric Gordon, Chris Paul, and Nene will not see the floor tonight. Look for Gerald Green to get his first start with the Rockets. Luc Mbah a Moute will also play tonight after missing the last couple of games.

The Suns will be without Elfrid Payton, T.J. Warren, Devin Booker, Alex Len, and Jared Dudley. Their quest for the most ping pong balls is still in play. Phoenix sits 2.5 games worse than every team in the league.

Given the circumstances, this one should be a DOOZIE.
