Here we are in the second game of the first round series between the Houston Rockets and the Minnesota Timberwolves, and though the opening game wasn’t exactly a Rockets tour de force, thanks to James Harden, we’re sitting right where everyone expected, and that’s a 1-0 series lead for Houston.
There was hope that the Rockets would get some help tonight for their struggling three-point shot with the return of Ryan Anderson, but it was announced not long ago that the stretch four would be out again tonight.
Ryan Anderson is out for the Rockets vs. Timberwolves tonight.

The hope is now that Ryno returns on Saturday, so the Rockets will have to find that long-bomb spark with one of their best three-point shooters still out of the lineup.
We’ll also see if all those complaints about The Beard and his step-back three results in some added attention given to Harden’s footwork. Considering that the vast majority of Harden’s special move are within the rules, I wouldn’t read too much into it, but it is something to keep an eye on.
As AK broke down in his preview, expect some adjustments from both teams, and we’ll see where the playoff narrative takes us next. My guess is it’s another Houston win.
Go Rockets!!
