The Rockets have the opportunity to advance to the second round tonight. And it is an opportunity they should not take for granted.
A win tonight means the team will get the next few days to heal up for the next series, and it also means the team does not need to travel until late next week, when they travel for Game 3 to Salt Lake City or Oklahoma City.
A loss means the team heads to the raucous of Target Center in hopes of pumping the brake on the series before a potential Game 7 on Sunday.
The Rockets have three chances to end this series, and tonight is the night to do it. Teams have blown 3-1 leads before (looking at you, CP3 and the Clippers, and you too, Charles Barkley and the Suns), so let’s make sure the Rockets fall on the right side of history this time. Get this win and move on.
