Western Conference Finals 2018: Warriors vs. Rockets Game 5 thread

Who will take the 3-2 lead tonight?

NBA: Playoffs-Houston Rockets at Golden State Warriors Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

When the Rockets beat the Warriors in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals Tuesday night, it was almost as if the Rockets erased the purpose of the first four games in the series.

This series is now a best-of-three. Who can win two of the next three contests?

It’s almost as if a brand new series starts tonight: Part II of the Western Conference Finals. Both teams have won a game at home and on the road in this series, so homecourt advantage, although is slightly important in Houston’s favor, is not an automatic win at this stage.

Tonight’s winner will simply be the team who can play their brand of basketball the best. Can the Warriors unleash their offensive wizardry that disappeared in Game 4? Or can the Rockets continue to maintain their newfound defensive-first, isolation identity to pull ahead in the series?

It’s surely going to be a grudge match.
