CP3 and the Rockets did not waste any time to get the deal done, and it was announced right at midnight.
With LeBron James opting out of his contract on Friday, the Rockets began to shift their focus towards resigning their free agents, and CP3 is the first item checked off the list.
Now, with Paul taken care of, the focus now shifts to Clint Capela, Trevor Ariza and Gerald Green.
Update: Trevor Ariza signed with the Suns.
And it seems like CP3 is very interested in bringing the band back together in his Instagram post he posted simultaneously with Woj’s tweet.
This article will be updated as more details of the deal surface.
Congratulations on your new contract, Chris Paul!
