Fan favorite and Houstonian Gerald Green is staying with the Houston Rockets on a one-year deal according to Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle.
Rockets reach agreement to bring back Gerald Green on a one-year contract, again at the veteran's minimum, per source.

With the veteran’s minimum, Green will count against $2.4 million of the Rockets cap space for the upcoming season.
The Rockets are the most active team thus far in free agency with three moves in just over an hour. After the sad news of Ariza jettisoning the Rockets for the Phoenix Suns, Green made Rockets fans happy again by staying with the team for a very cheap, team-friendly deal.
Green signed with the Rockets in December and became a huge presence off the bench as a guy who brought immediate energy and three-point scoring. Green averaged 12.1 points per game in 41 contests last season. Now, we have a full season filled with clutch threes, sharp hairstyles, and pure Houston.
It’s good to have you back in H-Town where you belong, Gerald Green!
