Anthony will be officially placed on waivers today, and when he clears them, he will become a free agent and sign with the Rockets at the league-minimum $2.4 million.
If the Rockets were on the two-yard line last year, it’s 1st & Goal at the 1-inch line now. Melo will clear waivers in 48 hours, which will pave the way for the Rockets to officially make Melo a Houston Rocket as early as Wednesday.
It looks like the long road for Melo to get to Houston is finally coming to an end.
