It’s just a formality, but Melo is putting pen to paper today.

After weeks of waiting, with the ball seemingly just creeping ever so slowly up to the goal line, Carmelo Anthony will finally sign his 1-year, $2.4 million veteran’s deal with the Houston Rockets today after completing his physical, according to Adrian Wojnarwoski.

Of course, this is nothing more than a formality, as Anthony has been committed to the Rockets for a while now, with an official verbal contract acceptance happening last week.

I’m not going to get into the details, as we’ve reported on and discussed Melo ad nauseum this summer. I’m simply going to direct you where you can catch up on all things Melo:
