According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Brandon Knight has undergone knee surgery and will be out for the time being.
On @theathleticnba @watchstadium: Houston's Brandon Knight underwent surgery on his left knee, considered a "clean up," and will miss some time, per league sources.

Knight underwent surgery prior to the August 31 trade that brought him to Houston along with Marquese Chriss in exchange for Ryan Anderson and De’Anthony Melton. Both teams knew about Knight’s surgery, but the Rockets agreed to acquire him anyway.
He is out indefinitely, which means he does not have a timetable for his return currently, but it is under the impression that he will miss most, if not all of training camp and his injury may keep him out for the first part of the regular season.
This is a small loss for Houston, as the Rockets hoped to include Knight in a myriad of lineups in their fluid rotations. However, I’m sure that the Rockets will find a place for Knight in the lineup once he returns from the injury.
