The Houston Rockets are looking for their fourth consecutive victory tonight against the New Orleans Pelicans, and they have a golden opportunity with a reeling Pelicans team that not only sits in 13th place in the Western Conference, but were also just rocked from a psyche perspective with the Anthony Davis trade request.
To top it all off, New Orleans is also decimated by injuries:
Add another name to the Pelicans injury list. Elfrid Payton is out with a sprained right ankle. That makes five guys out vs. the Rockets; Davis, Mirotic, Randle, Moore and Payton.

This is a game the Rockets should win, but they’ve had a nasty habit this season of playing to the level of their competition, and nothing is a gimme in the world of professional sports.
It’d be a good opportunity, however, to continue to work Chris Paul back into game shape, get re-acclimated from a chemistry standpoint, and score a win in the process.
Don’t forget to check out AK’s preview before the game, and as always... go Rockets!
