The Houston Rockets will finally wrap up their well-beyond-the-road road trip today, as they finish their two-game Japan series against the Toronto Raptors. I know it’s a super early game, but enjoy it while you can, Rockets fans. Your beloved team won’t play again for another six days.
In the first game of this series, Houston dropped a close close one to Toronto. Today, they look to exact their revenge (eh). OK, let’s be honest, it’s preseason. I’m ready for consistent, real basketball. The time off has been weird, the scheduling has been weird, and the overall atmosphere has been weird because of the, you know, controversy.
So, again, I’ll reiterate: enjoy it.
It’s real-life basketball. Is it basketball that “counts?” No. Is it still basketball? Yes.
For 48 minutes of gametime, the other stuff doesn’t matter. You know what does matter? Russell Westbrook suits up for his second game with Houston. I’m looking forward to more of this:

What are you looking forward to? What do you want most out of this game?
Oh, and, lastly: LET’S GO ROCKETS!
