The first survey results are in.

NBA: Preseason-Houston Rockets at Miami Heat Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

The results of the first FanPulse survey are in, adding up the totals from across the SB Nation NBA team network, and the Houston Rockets are represented. First, James Harden came in fifth in the MVP voting, behind Giannis Antetokounmpo, Stephen Curry, Kawhi Leonard, and Anthony Davis.

Our FanPulse participants were also asked who they favored for the NBA title this season, and the Rockets came in fifth place in that as well. They were behind the Los Angeles Clippers, who were the overwhelming favorite, Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Lakers, and Philadelphia 76ers.

And in the final question, our participants were asked a simple either/or in regards to the Rookie of the Year award. Zion, or literally anyone else? And Zion was the winner.

These opening questions were designed to be broad and national in nature as sort of a warm-up for all of our FanPulse participants. Moving forward, the questions for our TDS sign ups will be mostly Rockets-related and go a little further in depth into the specifics of the team.

We are still looking for more participants in the surveys about the Rockets, so if you are interested in becoming part of our FanPulse community, please do sign up here.

The surveys are anonymous, and we’ll continue to publish the results here at TDS and on SB Nation main.
