Pelicans: Lonzo Ball, E’Twaun Moore, JJ Redick, Brandon Ingram, Derrick Favors
After opening their season with a six-point loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, the Houston Rockets look to bounce back against their Southwest Division rival, the New Orleans Pelicans. Last season, the Rockets were tied in their regular-season series against the Pels, as James Harden averaged 31.0 points per game in the matchup.
For New Orleans, the Pelicans will be without their starting shooting guard, Jrue Holiday, who sustained a left knee sprain in their 123-116 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Friday. The Pelicans will also be without their No. 1 overall pick, Zion Williamson, who is out for an estimated six-to-eight weeks following arthroscopic surgery on his left knee.
