FanPulse results: Rockets fan confidence continues to be erratic

Here’s this weeks’ poll results!

I’m a little late on the FanPulse results this week, so they might be slightly less relevant at this point, especially after the big Houston Rockets win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night. But here goes anyway.

As usual, first up, we have our national poll, asking which under-.500 teams in the Western Conference do you think are most likely to make the playoffs?

I got this one right on, with both of my picks — the Portland Trail Blazers and Sacramento Kings — leading the pack by a lot. The Phoenix Suns were a nice story for a bit, but they’ve lost five games in a row now, and I don’t think most figured them to have enough juice to make it until the end of the season still in contention for a playoff spot anyway.

The San Antonio Spurs aren’t out of it, so it does surprise me a bit to see them so low, and I think the Minnesota Timberwolves are mostly toast, so over 20 percent seems a little high to me, but those are the only percentages that were unexpected to me.

As for Rockets fan confidence, we continue to be a fickle bunch, as it’s dropped back down again after a season high just two weeks ago.

Confidence is now at its second-lowest point of the season, but it will be interesting to see where it stands next week, especially if the Rockets can avoid a trap game tonight against the Suns and build momentum off of their big win against the Clips.

Don’t forget, you can still sign up for FanPulse if you want to join in the weekly fun. We’ll have another special Rockets question on tap for everyone this week, so it’s a good week to take the plunge! SIGN UP HERE!!!
