Ever wanted to see how the Rockets would look without James Harden and Russell Westbrook AND Clint Capela? Good news, bench fan, prospect head, basketball masochist, you may get your chance.
James Harden is questionable is out with a toe sprain, Russell Westbrook is out with a Back2Back, and Clint Capela is out with a bruised heel. Whether or not a serpent was involved is unclear.
Eric Gordon is scheduled to return. At some point the Rockets will all play together, we hope, but it will not be this night.
But for tonight, we may get to witness the point guard stylings of Chris Clemons, Austin Rivers and Eric Gordon. We’ll see more Hartenstein.
In other words, this may get ugly. Very ugly. Keep some perspective, as the Rockets are in a 56 win “crisis” which would count as the best season in quite a while for most NBA teams.
